The Peale Center in Baltimore, Maryland, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, is home to the world’s largest collection of Baltimore stories, and is renovating the first museum building in the United States, established by artist Rembrandt Peale in 1814, to provide a showcase for the city’s storytellers that is worthy of their importance and historical value.

Our mission is to ensure the whole story of the City is told, and, by amplifying its communities’ voices, to help people everywhere see Baltimore in a new light.
