À propos du livre
Lode Coen traveled in Costa Rica in the summer of 2016. What he saw during his excursions through the jungles reminded him of Joseph Conrad’s novella, Heart of Darkness (even though that story was about Congo). Lode is an artist and designer from Belgium. CostaRica is so rich in biodiversity, lush tropical fauna, flora, microclimates, that Lode decided for a ‘pure’ black & white look of his artwork. What is lost in color is gained in incredibly deep textures. It makes it more tactile. Costa Rica is an interactive sensory experience.
