À propos du livre
The 96 paintings in this book are by Nancy Boudreau, done in 2007, her first year of publicly presenting and selling work online. Inspired by the artists Duane Keiser and Julian Merrow-Smith and their use of the internet, this book represents a serious return to painting after a hiatus of almost 29 years.
The original paintings featured in this book have been sold into private collections in the United States, Canada and Australia. To view new paintings as they become available or participate in the auctions, visit the artist's blog at: http://www.nboudreau.com.

À propos du créateur
"It isn't only beauty that the beholder's eye sees, but also value. If no one ever sees a painting, no matter how beautiful, rare or clever, what value has it? Until this year, I felt there was no reason to make art, no venue, no outlet. But then the internet, blogs and eBay came along and with them there were Beholders. And they began to speak up. The fact that people were emotionally moved, desired to own, made to smile, offered their hard-earned dollars in exchange for the painted surfaces that developed under my brush, made me realize that I should paint. And paint I did. For you, my dear Beholder." Nancy Boudreau is an artist living in western Connecticut and working in the traditional book publishing industry. After graduating in 1978 from the University of Bridgeport with a degree in painting, she began a career in book publishing, occasionally producing illustrations, paintings and sculpture for personal gratification. This is her first venture with Blurb.
