À propos du livre
It explores the formative centuries of Armenian identity, from the legendary figure of Hayk the Patriarch through the rise of early kingdoms and the emergence of Armenia as a recognized historical presence. Blending myth, memory, and documented history, this volume examines how land, lineage, and leadership shaped a people long before empires defined borders.
Rather than treating antiquity as distant or abstract, this book presents Armenia’s earliest eras as lived history, rooted in place, continuity, and the enduring relationship between people and land. It lays the foundation for the volumes that follow, where sovereignty will be challenged, lost, and ultimately reclaimed.
