An original, yet very short story about a boy and his owl friend navigating their friendship through the natural world. Inspired by a social media Folk Tale Week challenge using the following prompts: MOON, DREAM, AWAKENING, FEAST, BIRD RIVER, SKY. Artists were invited to illustrate these prompts through existing folk stories or in creating their own--of which this story was born and illustrated. NOT professionally edited, just simply created and offered using my 7 illustrations with the 7 one-page chapters (prompts) as I originally presented through social media.
