À propos du livre
But as much as Fagg Nation is the story of oneself and their family, it is also the story of the evolution of Mormonism as seen through Fagg’s eyes. Fagg’s own politics are liberal. She openly discuss her queerness, talks about gender fluidity in the positive, and generally pokes holes in many of the stereotypes held about the Mormon culture and religion. It’s a look at where the culture of progressive Mormonism might lead.
Where Fagg shines is in the use of voice. Fagg's writing is quiet and unassuming, but even with their subtle delivery their message is strong and acute. You leave the book with the feeling you just had an engaging conversation over dinner with a new friend.
