The primary focus of Terry Scopelliti has been to capture the surreal points in the physical world, with its simplicities and mysterious complexities, and bring them into his art. His eye for detail, composition, light, shape and design enable him to create extraordinary images. Using vintage, traditional and modern photographic techniques, his objective is to accomplish this aesthetic vision.
As an artist, Scopelliti has been creating photographs for over 35 years. After receiving his degree in photography from The Art Institute of Atlanta, he relocated to New York City, where he worked as an assistant for top fashion and still life photographers. Returning to Atlanta in the late 80’s he continued his exploration of the photographic medium in commercial, portrait and fine art work.
Terry’s photography has been exhibited in solo and group shows throughout the United States. In 2014 his work was recognized for the fifth consecutive year by the internationally acclaimed American Art Aw
