I call my work "Painterly Photography" because I start from one of my photographs and tweak and change it to achieve the final look which typically is a more painterly effect rather than photographic.

I'm a native of the Philadelphia area and a resident of the Eastern Shore and I love to take photographs wherever I go. From abstract to local landscapes to places I've visited, whatever peaks my interest, I snap a picture and get to work on the computer.

I'm a graduate of West Chester University, with a BFA. After college, I chose to chase a dream to become a professional paramedic and firefighter, and I've done that. As fulfilling as that vocation is, Art is still my passion and the idea that other people might appreciate, enjoy and even purchase my artwork, is the ultimate flattery and reaffirms my own pleasure in my work.
