Mayumi Kataoka is a Sydney based photographer, passionate about capturing the raw beauty of an Australian native plants- especially Eucalyptus and other native trees.

" I am so fascinated by the colours of the trees in Australia.  They are my inspiration for my photographic work.
I feel pure joy when I see those beautiful trees and their ever changing magical colours."

She had a number of exhibitions in Sydney in 2015. Notably her photography was selected to join “The Kangaroo’s Visit Exhibition – Rome, Italy” November 2015 where she exhibited 12 photos with other Australian artists.

Mayumi's passion and goal is to highlight and show the extraordinary hidden beauty of wonderful trees of Australia.
