À propos

Peter Storck is an archaeologist and, after a thirty year career, a retired museum curator. This is his first novel. His award-winning non fiction book for the general public (published in 2004), Journey to the Ice Age, about his search in central Canada for the descendants of northeast Asian peoples who colonized the Americas, is available from the University of British Columbia Press. In retirement, Peter self-published a creative non fiction book about his family's origins, which from DNA evidence extends deeply into the Ice Age. He also produced a museum exhibit about four billion years of climate change/recent global warming, writes and lectures about his research for the general public and tries to keep up with new discoveries in human evolution and the peopling of the Americas during the Ice Age. When not doing this he enjoys carpentry, model making, reading, photography, thinking about his next writing project and helping his wife in the garden -- between naps.
