I am a born and bread Kentuckian but lived many years in Key West, where I evolved as an artist and as an individual. In addition to cultivating my creative voice through photography, I served as the long time director of two prominent galleries, both with a focus in international art and artifacts.

As an artist, I continue to explore the possibilities of the photographic medium, recently shifting my focus from traditional darkroom processing to incorporating mix media and experimental printmaking. In 2001, I was awarded the South Florida Cultural Consortium Award for documented images of Haiti, developed in the style of 19th century photographs. Numerous local grants and funding followed with an extended residency in Nantucket in 2006.

In 2011, I returned home, in pursuit of a life more affordable and less career focused with time to fully pursue my creative passions.
