Pearl Izumi has chosen her "Runner" silhouette as a hangtag on 50,000 pieces of apparel.

The Monterey Bay Aquarium selected one of her ocean photos as a second runner-up in the World Ocean Day photo contest.

A former member of the Bay Area Photographers Collective in San Francisco, she now lives in Davis, CA.
