David King has been taking pictures since his father taught him the difference between shutter speed and f-stop when he was a child. He has been writing fiction and non-fiction since his mother taught him his first big word: “articulate,” at age 6.
Moving to Boston for university, he studied electrical engineering & photography at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Wellesley College and the New England School of Photography.
After working many years as an engineer, David moved into a VW camper in 2003 and spent four years living nomadically, traveling throughout the United States and overseas. In 2007 he returned to Cambridge, Massachusetts, where he currently lives with his wife and traveling companion Deonnie Moodie.
