Dani Burlison has been a staff writer for a Bay Area alt-weekly, a columnist for McSweeney's Internet Tendency and a book reviewer for The Los Angeles Review. Her writing also appears or is forthcoming in places like The Chicago Tribune, The Rumpus, Ploughshares, Hip Mama Magazine, Rad Dad, Spirituality & Health Magazine, Shareable, Prick of the Spindle, and more. She is a Squaw Valley Writers Workshop and Lit Camp alumna and lives in Northern California, where she slings zines, teaches writing classes and plans adventures with her two daughters.
