I live and work in Toronto, Canada. I was born in Malta in 1964, studied there at Floriana Seminary and have painted pretty much all my life showing my work privately and publicly. I am an independent artist with a very supportive, and compassionate following. In 2011, I opened a studio cafe and bar (caffe furbo) in the Historic Distillery District (12 case goods lane) where a large percentage of Toronto's artists and artisans come together and share experiences and trade. My paintings are meditative, and interact beautifully with their surroundings in various ranges of light. Works will also play with textures created with mixed media, striations, scratches, paper cutouts, rough surfaces such as plywood, line, and colour.
