I’m Alex Lucaci and I’m an architectural photographer with a passion for capturing the beauty and essence of creative interior and exterior spaces.

I was born in Bucharest, Romania, and moved to New York at the age of twelve, where I still live. Travelling the world from such a young age allowed me to experience a variety of architectural landscapes, from which I still draw inspiration. My travels cultivated a relentless curiosity for art and creativity, but it wasn't until after trying my luck at selling ladies' shoes in retail stores and being a professional bartender — and too many broken bottles to keep beating the odds — that I picked up a camera one day and started catching the life that is in architecture.

The main focus of my work is to reveal the minute details, as well as the emotion and identity in the architecture. To say I appreciate the time architects spend on creating a design would be a huge understatement. Because of that, I always strive to tell their story.
