Born and raised in Nebraska, married to a girl who's the same way, and a father of a boy who is--so far--the same. After graduating from law school, I practiced criminal law and veterans' disability benefits law for a little over a year before moving into a job with the Department of Homeland Security. My interests are, as you might guess from looking at my book selection, photography and drawing. |

The Lord of the Rings is a lot of work, but is incredibly rewarding. It's a big commitment, so if that's too much, the movies do a great job of telling the essential parts of the story.
Also, check out The Dark Is Rising sequence by Susan Cooper. It's intended for a younger audience (older than the Chronicles of Narnia, though) but is a great read for anyo |
