Simon Gomery resides in Plymouth, Devon. Simon has a BA (Hons) degree in Photography. Simon is an award winning internationally published photographer. Simon also has a PGCE and is qualified to teach in tertiary or in FE/HE organizations. Simon has taught in a specialist Art College as well as in Academy Schools. Simon photographs with a Fujica Professional GM670, that has a fixed 100mm f3.5 lens, a Yashica MG-1 Rangefinder coupled with a 45mm f2.8 lens, digitally Simon photographs with a Fuji X100. Simon uses Hoya filters. Simon uses a Sekonic lightmeter, Kodak Professional Porta 160 colour negative film and Ilford FP4 Black and White Emulsion, Manfrotto tripods and heads. Simon is also an Associate of The Royal Photographic Society of Great Britain. Simon is also a member of The Society for Education and Training. Simon has exhibited in London and locally, Simon's photographs have been published in magazines, journals and books.
