À propos

Linda Rubinstein has been making Artist Books for over 30 years. Using images and words, she pushes the boundary between the personal and universal. Particularly inspirited by travel, she documents and interprets her world, observing, recording, and reflecting. Her work captures particular events as well as making sense of daily occurrences. "These books" she comments, "help me stay grounded in the experience while giving me endless platforms to explore imagery."

Rubinstein's books have been shown regionally and nationally in both solo and group exhibits including Women of the Book which toured the United States for four years.

She attended Hunter College in New York City before moving to Southern Vermont in the late sixties. She has been Executive Director of Yellow Barn Music Festival, Education Curator of the Brattleboro Museum, and partner in Arts Bridge, a consulting firm.
