Elias Dimitrakopoulos was born in Athens, Greece, in 1941. He joined the Greek Diplomatic Service, in 1968.

Photography has always been essential, in his artistic priorities. Digital photography permitted him to address his creativity potential.

Now that the years of duty are over, he is living in Athens, trying to catch-up with life-long longings.
