My name is Johan! Or Jo for short. I am a photographer based in the southern suburbs of Brisbane, Australia.

I have been around cameras most my life starting of with those terrible 110 cameras and then finding my way into the 35mm arena. For a number of years I dabbled with medium format, shooting with an old 6x6 500C Hasselblad. At the time I converted my study into a darkroom so I could process my own film and print pictures where I had complete control. I still have boxes of negatives that's travelled with me from that time. Then came the digital revolution and I've been through a number of cameras, from a little point and shoot to a full frame 32Megapixel beast. I've taken photos on several continents and seen some truly amazing sights.
