A graduate of UNC Chapel Hill and North Carolina Central University School of Law, CM's first public speech came at the age of five. When a classmate was unjustly scolded by their teacher, she stood in the middle of reading time to champion the rights of her counterpart.

With an uncanny ability to both offend and endear, CM touches audiences with her down home realness. She approaches her writing and speaking from the standpoint that there are no good or bad people, there are just people who do good or bad things.

Writing is one of CM's many passions. "100 Common Sense Dating Tips" is the first of a series of planned advice books, and the prelude to a semi-biographical book on relationships.
