À propos du livre
When advertising art director Andrew C. Bly arrived in New York City two years ago, he felt compelled to take snapshots while out and about walking the streets of his new home base. The city's vibrant storefronts, street art, and architecture caught his eye. After taking a photo at 28th and Lexington (cover), he decided to translate his Instagram images into a series of color palettes that provided abstract color capsules of various corners of the city, which he documents in Color Me NYC. -Kristin Hohenadel for Slate

À propos du créateur
Andrew Bly
New York, NY
Before I found my way to advertising in New York, I studied architecture in Ohio and worked in that industry for several years. From steel staircases in Akron, to Giant Eagles in Cleveland, I built the heck out of the Buckeye State. Architecture gave me a great background in the marriage of form and function, something I apply in art direction every day. I’m interested in design as a form of communication and the way great design can shape our lives.
