À propos du livre
Istanbul snapshots is a little book of memories and notes of nostalgia, made with my iPhone.
It is a poetrybook in photographs which I made after my return for a few weeks to Istanbul, where I had lived for a year (2007-2008). In that time I worked on a project about the Bosphorus, being the border between two continents. Together with writer and journalist Irene van der Linde we created a documentary in book form with narrative storytelling and documentary photography. This was published by Lemnsicaat in 2010 as 'Het veer van Istanbul' and by Les Editions Noir sur Blanc in 2013 as 'Les passeurs d'Istanbul'.
