À propos du livre
A lifelong bird lover, Cheryl created this book for the pleasure of putting it together. This book combines photos of more than 70 North American species with brief essays on several topics (courtship, flying, and more) and more than 50 short essays on individual bird species (based on observation and researched data). Each of these 50 species has at least one spread of photos focused on that species. (In the index, included among the sample pages, spreads focusing on a specific species are italicized.)
Photos include young of many species, and many humorous shots of wet birds, birds with wind-blown feathers, or bickering birds.
Cheryl is not a professional photographer but a hobbyist; she is a writer (married in her forties, she was published under her maiden name) and a lover of the beauty of God's creation.
