À propos du livre
In June 2018, in the city of New York, Brazilian photographer Ronaldo Aguiar and American writer Jim Morrissey, debut a collaborative work, at Soho Photo Gallery, called "Void". The work was inspired by both artists depression, melancholy, and the road in and out of it.
Ronaldo Aguiar manufactured seven flags where his alter ego, an astronaut, goes into an internal voyage to try and understand his quandaries, anger, and sadness. The confection of the flags uses a transfer on fabric process, and embroidery.
Jim Morrissey's poems were written while listening to selected songs that gave the author the desired rhythm to his work. His poetry exposes an internal quest to understand his depression and melancholy states as well.
"Void" was made both in São Paulo and New York.
