Marie Connole is an art teacher and visual artist based in Ireland. Her practice explores the influence of culture and human form on the psyche, re-working sacred iconography and archetypal symbolism.

In 2017 Connole held a six-month solo exhibition at the Irish Arts Center, New York.
Her work has also featured in the National Gallery of Ireland, eva International and the Science Gallery at Trinity College Dublin. In 2008 she was awarded residencies at the Kilkenny County Arts Office, Ireland, and at SĺM, the Association of Icelandic Visual Artists, Reykjavík. Her work is in the collections of AXA Insurance, Wesley College Dublin, Kilkenny Arts Office, and private collections.
