À propos du livre
Join our hero – Dave – and his fellow adventurers, as they embark on the greatest, and last, campaign of their lives.
Rolling dice, drinking cups of tea and bottles of beer, and eating pizza along the way, they will tackle life's problems – both real and imaginary – through the greatest medium known to humankind – table-top fantasy role-play.
As heroes stolen shamelessly from popular media, Chris, Anna, Rob and Dave traverse the multiverse from Chris's Parents' dining room. On their journey, they will encounter elves, dwarves, halfling innkeepers and Dave's Dad – Gerry. They will traverse mountains, do battle with the undead, foil an evil plot, restore peace to a kingdom and attempt to get out of a conversation with Dave's Dad – Gerry. Through cliché, clumsy plotting and flimsy dialogue, they will learn to cope with change, conflict and great loss.
Or maybe they'll just learn to appreciate the escapism that only fantasy can truly bring.
Best enjoyed with a cup of Earl Grey or a bottle of Trooper.
