À propos du livre
A boy rescues an injured crow and helps rehabilitate it in hopes of its safe return to the wild. This book is a study of the habits and largely unknown abilities of the smartest bird on the planet, the crow. It is also a heartfelt story of a young naturalist trying to save a bird he admires and deeply hoping the bird will return to visit him. The book is based on a fourth grade author's year-long research project studying the American Crow in which he interviewed crow trainers, participated in crow training, visited a cognitive biology research station near Vienna, Austria focusing on crow behavior, and his own readings on the extraordinary intelligence of crows.
