À propos du livre
THE MONOCHROME LANDSCAPE
It was Henri Cartier-Bresson who said "It is an illusion that photos are made with the camera ... they are made with the eye, heart and head". Cartier-Bresson was a photojournalist and street photographer, but I strongly believe his comment holds true also for landscape photography.
In The Monochrome Landscape you will find a selection of my black and white landscape photos, made in several parts of Europe between 2009 and 2015. I hope you will recognise what I think Cartier-Bresson meant: an engagement with the subject, captured with eye, heart, and head, recorded with a camera.
