À propos du livre
In the late 1940’s, Sam Lucido was a seven-year-old kid living in the Detroit neighborhood with a gangster father who disappeared one day and never came back. With nothing but the clothes on his back and a box full of possessions, he moved all over the country with his family trying to make a living.
Once old enough, he discovered that joining the army was the only way he was going to survive. Sam was going to be the one thing he dreamed of being...a paratrooper. His heart and mind were set on this goal and he wouldn’t quit until he proved to himself and to everyone else that he was worthy of being one of the best trained soldiers in the world.
