À propos du livre
A brief look inside the life of an 'ordinary' bloke who lived through the most 'extraordinary' of times.
To read the diaries was fascinating and informative. To have 'listened' to their 'voices' was truly amazing.

À propos du créateur
Ron Towson lives in rural Queensland, Australia. As a visual artist, educator and writer he has worked and lived in various locations throughout Australia, China and South Korea. As a young man, the author served in the Royal Australian Air Force. In common with many Australian families, the author's heritage includes many members who have served in the defence forces across several generations. His interests include military and social history, music, literature and the arts. "James William Poulton - War Diaries 1916 - 1919" is dedicated to his two great-uncles who served in the AIF during the First World War. "Into the Breach - Volunteers from Middle Ridge Toowoomba during the Great War 1914 - 1919" is Towson's second publication. It explores the fate of 18 local AIF volunteers who served in the Australian army during WWI - 7 of whom did not return from the war.
