À propos du livre
This narrative poem traces the journey of a 15-year-old girl named Yasemine, who is forced to leave her home behind, along with her two sisters and her parents. She experiences feelings of nostalgia, loss, great frustration, and acceptance on her journey to a place she hopes she can someday call home. She doesn’t think she can let go of her many childhood memories, or of the place that played such a big part in making her the person that she is. She soon learns that a person can have more than one home, and that all a home is, is a place where she feels safe, comfortable, and happy. This is her journey to the sun.
