À propos du livre
With the rise and evolution of smartphones, the project has been an attempt to capture & convey landscapes with a "camera" built into mobile phones which folks carry daily, usually for other purposes than photography. With a nod to influences such as Burtnysky, Baraka, Strand, Adams, & Sakahara the photos attempt to capture the interplay and effect of time and nature on the built environment, and vice versa. In a way these pictures are a meditation of sorts, perhaps on the balance between the eons of nature and the briefness of human activity and ideas.
