À propos du créateur
DOROTHY FAGAN grew up with four siblings in Mountain Lakes, New Jersey. She graduated from East Carolina University with a B. F. A in Printmaking and Painting in 1974. She completed a ten-year American Paintings Mentorship with Robert Bowers Mayo in 1989. Early in her career, her paintings gained recognition at The Pastel Society of America, American Artist's Professional League, G. V. W. Smith Museum of Art, Virginia Museum of Fine Art, Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art, Salmagundi Club and the Pastel Society of Canada. Her work is in public collections of City University of New York, U Mass Memorial Hospital, Boston Children's Hospital, Camp Lejeune Mental Health Facility, Musee de La Grande Vigne, Longwood University Art Museum. Fagan began writing in 2012. She lives two blocks west of the Chesapeake Bay in Cobbs Creek, Virginia with her husband James Waggener and their rescue dog Sneakers.
