À propos du livre
A young Army officer tells about his life and explains how he became to be a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Army. His journey has taken him to multiple states where he has picked up various military experiences, courtesies, and customs. In his book, he vividly shows the reader how he survived being at a military school and encountered troubles along the way. Another problem the author addresses is the racism that still occurs in the U.S. today, but talks about how the military veers every Soldier away from race and skin color. Now living in New Orleans, Louisiana, he explains his transition and how the Army has a use for him thousands of miles away from Colorado Springs, Colorado, where he originated from.
