À propos du créateur
John is a UK photographer specialising in documentary, reportage and maritime photography. After studying photography and graphic design he graduated as a graphic designer in 1972 and over a 40 year career has worked with some of the most eminent creative designers of his generation. He now dedicates his creative energies to his own photographic projects, working exclusively with Leica rangefinder cameras and available light. An increasing focus on black and white photography, work on long term assignments and creative collaborations typify his current working style. Exhibitions of John's photographs have been hosted by Leica UK, The National Trust and 35 North Contemporary Fine Art Brighton. His first book, ‘Archipelago, a Hebridean journey’ was published in 2014. In 2016 he published 'Restless - from tempest to tranquility' followed by his third book 'Deanland' in 2018. All three titles are both written and designed by the author.
