Christine Surman was brought up in the English Lake District, her photography is strongly influenced by nature. Her interest in botany is long standing and started as a teenager with involvement in the Flora of Cumbria project. Her extensive career in Oxford has always involved plants and gardens. Christine is a member of the Oxford Photographic Society.
