À propos du livre
"Irish Paris", the fruit of almost four years work, is an illustrated history of over 100 Irish men and women--some famous, some infamous--in Paris through the centuries, from St. Fiacre to Brendan Behan. This book is a must for all lovers of Ireland and Paris (to the extent the two are reconcilable).

Paris, France
Living in Paris for most of the past 18 years, I have developed a strong interest in the history of this city and its inhabitants. For many years, I have been researching the history of the Irish in Paris. My impressionistic review of their exploits in La Ville Lumiere is contained in the book 'Irish Paris'. I am interested in continuing this project further, possibly by focusing more intensely on some characters in this book that deserve far more attention than they have received--The Count Gerald O'Kelly de Gallagh springs instantly to mind.
