À propos du livre
Written for the most part during the early years of the onset of Progressive Supranuclear Palsy this memoir recounts the story of Ben's life. It begins with his early years growing up in rural Sussex during the war and goes on to describe meeting his wife, his work as a policeman in Eastbourne and then life as a law student at Cambridge University. He continues by describing his subsequent career, family life, his engagement with Christianity and his political activism. Throughout the book he pauses to reflect on social history, church history and above all the search for justice and an authentic Christian faith. Born in a Bucket ends with words of thanks to his carers and shows how he maintains his faith in spite of illness.
