À propos du livre
Born in Podunk Center, Iowa, Lloyd Sawhill learned to paint in the late 50s at the not so young age of 34. Drawing on his love of horses, it only made sense to focus his new skills on these majestic animals. This began 50 years of drawing, painting and carving horses. Unconventionally, he would paint on just about any material — cloth, metal, plastic, even wallpaper. Lloyd's particular love of draft horses is represented in some of his finest works.
Lloyd's paintings and carvings are held in private collections across the country and in several museums. This 194 page hardcover book represents his life's work and is filled with over 250 images.
