À propos du créateur
571 Projects seeks to bridge the gap between dynamic emerging & mid-career artists and engaged collectors, both those beginning to collect and those looking for fresh talent. To support the work of significant artists, we provide a forum through tightly curated, solo exhibitions that showcase a single body of work. Currently 571 Projects is a nomadic curatorial project with art advisory services, born at Chelsea's last creative community, Cold Castle formerly on the corner of West 21st Street and 11th Avenue in the heart of New York City's Chelsea. Founded by Sophie Bréchu-West, an alumna of Christie’s Master’s in Contemporary Art and Connoisseurship program, 571 Projects opened its doors in October 2009. She brings over 10 years’ experience working in the international gallery world between Boston, London and New York City. With 571 Projects, Bréchu-West gives her love and enthusiasm for contemporary art and artists a platform.
