In a very personal account, Bill Coderre describes the growth and development of the National Research Council's highly acclaimed Industrial Research Assistance Program (IRAP).
In this work, Bill has sought out and used the memories and opinions of many of the people who served Canada's industrial research development through IRAP.
He uses the guiding priciples of IRAP as the basis for a dramatic set of recommendations for improving Canada's S&T policy and support infrastructure.
