A revised edition - some website addresses on the last page have been updated, that's all. The main contents remain the same.
An illustrated history of a special east Kent (UK) coastal village that played an important strategic role during both World Wars. Over the decades it has been an exclusive Edwardian holiday resort for the well-to-do; home to writers, actors, entertainers, politicians, aristocracy and smugglers.

Since retiring a few years ago I've become an equestrian artist, author and publisher! It was thru' looking at a fellow artist's published portfolio that I discovered Blurb and published my own art portfolio. Following that I've produced a small book about the coastal village where I live which is proving to be very popular and selling well.
I've also written and published a collection of hunting songs and histories of lakeland hunts - a spin off from a very successful website that I've been involved with since it's inception a couple of years ago - www.lakelandhuntingmemories.com In addition to those I've produced a revision and study aid to Luigi Pirandello's play "Six Characters in Search of an Author" in e Book format for most e Readers.
Four of my books are available as e Books at www.amazon.co.uk and www.smashwords.com, and another couple are about to be published. Do check them out.
